Weekend Getaway!

We were able to get away for a weekend in the beginning of April. We headed to the mountains of North Carolina, visited the Biltmore Estate, did some hiking, saw some beautiful waterfalls, cute little towns, and had a BLAST. Aunt Amy and Anthony were able to join us too! Check out the pics:

Happy 3rd Birthday Gavin!

Unfortunately this year we all came down with a nasty stomach bug around the boys birthdays. In fact, on Gavin's birthday he threw up right before his cupcakes! We invited family over at their own risk...check it out!

HA HA!  It was a funny pic!  No, seriously, it was terrible, but it did not keep us from celebrating!  One more big, important bit of news, Gavin gave up his Paci on his 3rd birthday, as you can see below, he sent it away on these balloons, it was a bittersweet moment, I think we all had tears in our eyes!

Anyway, Gavin's party was scheduled on his birthday at the Berewick Rec Center with all of his friends, but we had to cancel it so nobody would get sick. But, that did not stop us, we rescheduled the party for the next weekend, and had a great time! Here are some pics! Happy Birthday Gav, we love you! You are growing up to fast!

Brady's 1st Birthday Party!

We had Brady's 1st birthday party at the house on March 3rd, due to the way it fell. For his birthday we decided on a transportation theme to go along with his bedroom. It was a great turnout for his party, lots of friends and family made it a special day. The most memorable part of the day was Brady's cake debut, he devoured the cake, after one bite, he just kept on going, loved it!!! We also had a little family party for him on his actual birthday, and he went to town on his cupcake there as well. My little man is

Here he is, our little man has turned 1 year old!  Below you will find his pictures from birth to 1 year, so you can see how much he has changed.  He is such a joy to have in our lives, he brings a smile to our faces every day we lay eyes on him.  He has such a strong personality, and such a sense of humor!  He loves to make us laugh.  He makes all kinds of funny faces, noises, and more!  He loves playing with his brother, and they are even starting to play together, and unfortunately "fight."

At one year old, Brady has 4 teeth, has taken a few steps, LOVES to eat everything, says the word "hi" all of the time, claps, dances, and more!
