17 Months

Ok, so Gavin may not sit still for his pictures anymore, but he does say "Cheese," as you can kind of see here! He is getting so big, and look at that Blonde hair, it seems to be getting blonder by the day! Gavin is certainly growing up, he is doing so many new things, and saying so many new words, it is amazing! He is now running everywhere, jumping, spinning (especially during the hokey pokey), waving hello, eating everything on his own, with utensils (most of the time), jumping in the pool to mommy and daddy, identifying all parts of his body, and more! He has numerous words in his vocabulary, like please, hi, bye-bye, more, no no, mama, dada, night night, cheese, ect. Stay tuned for next month!

Grandma and Grandpa Bush Visit

Grandma and Granpa Bush came to visit last week, and we had a really good time! We hung out a lot outside, went to the pool, and we even went to the Columbia Zoo one day. Grandpa taught Gavin some new tricks while he was here, like how to sound like an indian, the motions for crazy (circling your finger around the side of your head), and more! We miss them very much!

Keeping Busy

So, we have been keeping quite busy lately! First, on Sunday, we took Gavin to Outlook Park. As you can see by the pictures, it is a little park where you can see planes taking off and landing. Gavin loves planes, and this was the perfect place to spot them!Monday, we went to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens with Aunt Vickie. We walked around, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, and had some fun!Wednesday, we went to Discovery Place AGAIN, we love that place!! Gavin and Lily had a great time looking at the fish, and playing in the kids Science room! We can't wait to get back there again soon!

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Bush come to visit!!!! yay!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! Thank you to all of the people who fight for America every day! We celebrated this weekend by enjoying some fun family time. First, on Saturday, we went to the National White Water Center, where they had bands, activities and fireworks. We had a great time with the Munn family and Aunt Amy. We listened to the music, danced, walked around the center, and watched the people raft past us!

We even decorated Gavin's little car for the event! Unfortunately, we did not make it to see the fireworks, Gavin was pooped out from such a long day!

On Sunday, we had a 4th of July Day Parade in our neighborhood, so we decided to decorate Gavin's wagon and participate in the event! There was a big fire truck, and lots of other kiddies that paraded through the neighborhood, Gavin loved it!

We ended our great weekend with a visit with Mike, Kate and Reagan. We went to their pool, where Gavin and Reags splashed around in the kiddie pool (daddy too) and watched Mike and Kim dive off the diving board! Then had some delicious steaks for dinner!

Reedy River Falls and our trip to Greenville

We visited Betsy in Greenville this week for a night. It is such a beautiful little city. We went to this cool fountain that the kids were all running through, Gavin loved it. Then, Betsy showed us the Reedy Creek Falls, which were awesome! We had a great time!
