Gavin's 2nd birthday "parties"

Gavin had 2 birthday parties this year. The first was a small little gathering at our house for our family, which took place on his actual birthday. Nana and Papa Bush, Nani Debbie, Nana and Papa Ryan, Aunt Amy and Anthony were all there. Nani Debbie made a special cake for Gavin. It was a choo choo, with Handy Manny characters, and Yo Gabba Gabba characters riding along in the choo choo... these are all of Gavin's favorites!! He loved it! We had pizza and just hung out at the house. Get this, when asked what he wanted for his birthday, he would say "money!" He loves to put money in his piggy bank, so that is what he got! He also received some clothes, the Cars movie, and a basketball hoop, which seems to be a hit!

On Saturday, we had a birthday party at Discovery Place Kids for Gavin and all of his little friends. We chose to do this so we could have everything taken care of for us, since I was due to have his baby brother at any time. We did not have to do a thing, we just had to show up. The kids had a blast. They were able to take full advantage of the museum, and Gavin would pick his "favorite spots," and all of the little kiddos would follow him. They made Gavin feel very special. Then we finished the party up with some cupcakes and juice. It was great! Gavin even blew out his own candles!!
